(Kaieteur News) – First Bauxite has announced a change in ownership, with the company confirming that it has entered into an agreement under which Strategic Bauxite has acquired the mining company.

The announcement was made in a press release issued by First Bauxite on July 15, 2026.

According to the company, the acquisition represents a “milestone” that will position First Bauxite for further growth, investment and long-term development of its operations in Guyana.
