IT is costing the United States of America US$3 million daily to run the military radar system in Tobago.
So said Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar while speaking to reporters outside the Red House in Port of Spain yesterday.
'You know they are paying US$3 million a day for that radar? Not us. They are paying that. Therefore they kept some of their military personnel there to ensure that the radar would be safe and would be able to continue working, and will not be sabotaged, or any such matters,' Persad-Bissessar said.
