A 65-year-old Marabella man was injured and robbed in a home invasion during the early hours of Thursday morning.
Police said the man was sitting in his living room around 2 a.m. when he was approached by two men. One of the suspects, described as approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, slim-built, wearing dark clothing and a black ski mask, announced a hold-up. The second suspect remains unidentified.
Officers said the men tied the victim’s hands and feet with a pillowcase and tie straps, and assaulted him, causing injuries. They then stole cash, two cell phones, a Republic Bank debit card, a National Identification card, two gold chains, and vehicle keys.
