KINGSTON, Jamaica — Reggae and dancehall artiste D’Yani unveiled his highly anticipated album, LLAP — Live Life & Prosper, during an intimate launch event at 105 Water Lane in downtown Kingston in August, presenting a body of work he describes as a reflection of life’s struggles, victories and lessons.
Surrounded by industry colleagues, friends and supporters, D’Yani introduced an album that goes beyond a collection of songs. LLAP serves as his musical diary — an honest account of struggle, heartbreak, triumph and the lessons gathered along an often-demanding road.
“My aspiration for this project is just basically to make sure people appreciate life, appreciate the little things, be grateful for the small things and be grateful for the big things,” D’Yani told the audience.
