A 60-year-old woman was robbed of her licensed firearm, cash, and personal belongings during a violent daylight attack at a pharmacy in Westmoorings on Tuesday.
Police said the victim was about to get into her MG HS vehicle, parked on the compound of SuperPharm Pharmacy around 1 p.m., when two men approached and robbed her of her handbag.
The bag contained personal items, including her firearm user’s licence, a Smith and Wesson .38 revolver loaded with six rounds of ammunition, $5,000 in cash, and a car key fob.
