(Kaieteur News) – A total of 67 contractors have bid to reconstruct the St. Sidwell’s Primary School in Georgetown, a project which is being executed through the Ministry of Education.
According to minutes of the tender opening provided by the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), the bidders bid between $194 million and $618 million to execute the works.
The St. Sidwell’s Primary School is an old wooden two-storey building located on the corners of Hadfield Street and Vlissengen Road, Lodge. It is situated next door to the St. Sidwell’s Anglican Church.
