(Kaieteur News) – West Indies produced a commanding all-round performance to defeat India by 24 runs in the fourth Twenty20 International at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Wednesday, levelling the five-match series at 2-2 and setting up a winner-takes-all decider.
Captain Shai Hope led from the front with a magnificent century, while fast bowler Keemo Paul delivered a match-winning five-wicket haul as the visitors defended their imposing total of 247-3, restricting India to 223-9 in 19.3 overs.
The victory was a timely response from the Caribbean side, which had fallen behind 2-1 after losing the third T20I by 14 runs in Indore.
