A 25-year-old man was gunned down in Maloney on Friday evening just minutes after reporting to the Maloney Police Station as required under his bail conditions.

Police said Jamal Sheppard, of Maloney Gardens, was shot multiple times around 6.50 p.m. at Gull Terrace, Maloney.

According to investigators, Sheppard had reported to the Maloney Police Station at approximately 6.38 p.m., where his bail book was stamped and signed in keeping with the conditions of his bail on a pending firearm and ammunition charge.
