Cancer awareness efforts in Barbados are moving beyond encouraging early detection, with a new partnership seeking to understand what patients and their families actually experience throughout the cancer care system.

The initiative will use survivor journey mapping to identify gaps and barriers in care, as we hear from Deanzer Roberts in this report.
