KINGSTON, Jamaica — Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cemex, Jaime Muguiro, has reaffirmed the company’s long-term commitment to supporting Jamaica’s economic growth and national development through continued investment in Caribbean Cement Company (Carib Cement).
Speaking at a town hall meeting with employees at Carib Cement on July 2, Muguiro said Cemex would continue making the investments necessary to ensure that Carib Cement remains a key contributor to Jamaica’s transformation.
“Our commitment to Jamaica is strong. We will continue investing in Carib Cement to ensure it remains a cornerstone of the country’s development, supporting economic growth, infrastructure and opportunities. We see tremendous potential in Jamaica, and Cemex is committed to being a long-term partner in its continued transformation,” he said.
