Government is embarking on an ambitious goal to upgrade its transport networks, accelerate digital integration, and expand renewable energy to boost national resilience and global competitiveness.
Speaking at the 12th China-LAC Infrastructure Forum in Macau, Senior Minister Coordinating Infrastructure and Minister of Transport and Works, Kirk Humphrey, disclosed that the island is entering a pivotal phase where “infrastructure must be viewed not simply as roads, bridges and buildings, but as the systems, technologies and partnerships that improve lives, create opportunity and strengthen national resilience.”
“Infrastructure is ultimately about people. It is about creating opportunity, improving quality of life and building societies that are more resilient, more connected and better prepared for the future,” Humphrey stated.
