Cop robbed of handcuffs after going to party

A HYUNDAI Elantra belonging to an off-duty police constable was stolen in Chaguaramas on Sunday where he had parked it to attend a party known as Miami Beach.
Besides the car he also lost a pair of police issued handcuffs, driver’s licence, bank and credit card, two pairs of footwear and two bottles of Arabic perfume.
Police said that around 3.45 a.m. the officer, 33 of Sangre Grande and parked the car in a car-park opposite the Five Island Water and Amusement Park off the Western Main Road, Chaguaramas.
