A 46-year-old man has died and another injured after a box drain collapsed in Maracas St. Joseph on Thursday morning.
Police said around 11:20 a.m., officers from the Maracas St. Joseph Police District, in company with fire personnel from the Tunapuna Fire Station, responded to a report of a collapsed box drain at Santa Barbara, Maracas St. Joseph.
On arrival, two men were found trapped in the hole, which measured approximately 20 feet in length, 10 feet in width, and 15 feet in depth, located about 25 feet from the road.
