The ConÂtracÂtors and GenÂerÂal WorkÂers Trade Union yesÂterÂday said the State of EmerÂgency’s no-protest zones have tied its hands, preÂventÂing it from demonÂstratÂing in front of the San FerÂnanÂdo City CorÂpoÂraÂtion.
PresÂiÂdent GenÂerÂal ErÂmine De Bique-Meade has acÂcused the City EnÂgiÂneer of deÂclarÂing “war” on the union afÂter alÂlegedÂly exÂcludÂing a shop stewÂard from a meetÂing at City Hall inÂvolvÂing workÂers in the weldÂing deÂpartÂment on SepÂtemÂber 9.
She said the shop stewÂard is alÂso emÂployed in the weldÂing deÂpartÂment.
