Point Fortin Mu­nic­i­pal Po­lice re­cov­ered sev­er­al mar­i­jua­na-in­fused cig­a­rettes, mar­i­jua­na and cam­ou­flage hats dur­ing a pa­trol near a beach on Sun­day night.

Ag Sgt Jaikaran and PC Ralph were on pa­trol in a marked po­lice ve­hi­cle around 7.15 pm near Clifton Hill Beach, close to the man­grove area, when they saw a group of men stand­ing at a cor­ner.

When the po­lice ve­hi­cle ap­proached to with­in about 50 feet of the group, the men re­port­ed­ly ran off in dif­fer­ent di­rec­tions, throw­ing ob­jects on­to the ground as they fled.
