Firefighter reinstated after nearly four-year suspension

After three years and four months on suspension, firefighter Patrick Williamson is back on the job, determined to serve and protect lives as he had initially sworn to do when he joined in 2015.
He said the decision to return was not easy, especially after theft allegations left him questioning his future and struggling to provide for his family.
“Words can’t really describe how I felt when I heard it and to know that I was being investigated. I put my all into my jobs. It was basically like the end of the world,” he recalled.
