The Barbados Association of Retired Persons (BARP) is stepping up its fight against elder abuse with plans to introduce a formal reporting system in partnership with the Barbados Police Service.
Addressing the organisation’s Annual General Meeting, President Marilyn Rice-Bowen also outlined several initiatives aimed at modernising the organisation and strengthening support for seniors.
