A group of men broke into the stolen vehicles compound at Sea Lots, Port of Spain, and damaged more than a dozen impounded vehicles early Friday morning.
It happened around 1 a.m. at the secured compound under the Besson Street Police District.
PC Hills, who was on duty at the facility, reportedly heard an alarm sounding from one of the impounded vehicles, followed by dogs barking continuously within the compound.
