Kalifah Tobias, the mother of missing Angelo Tobias Plaza, and the toddler’s stepfather, Shannon Miller, were questioned by police yesterday as investigations into the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of the two-year-old from his Tobago home intensified.
The couple were later brought back to their home in Goodwood Bay, metres away from where searches continued for the boy.
The Express observed the couple being taken in an unmarked police vehicle while Angelo’s father, Antonio Plaza, and Plaza’s mother, Meena Balliram, looked on.
