Secondary school-level questions are being written into the primary school Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) examination.
So said National Primary Schools Principal's Association president Monique Scipio- Daniel at a Joint Select Committee (JSC) on Social Services and Public Administration enquiry yesterday. The enquiry look into the underperformance of students at the nation's schools and the adequacy of the Student Support Services Division.
Stating that primary school is the foundation after ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education), JSC chairman Senator Dr Paul Richards asked Scipio-Daniel, 'Why do you think the status quo, with these inequalities and these structures that perpetuate inequality, continues?'
