The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) has confirmed that no body-worn cameras were used by police officers involved in five fatal shooting incidents across four parishes that left 11 men dead within a 24-hour period.
The commission said the incidents included two quadruple fatal shootings and three single fatal shootings, and resulted in deaths in St James, St Catherine, Clarendon and St Andrew.
INDECOM also identified three of the four men killed during Wednesday’s police operation in Retirement, St James, naming them as 55-year-old Bryan Fairclough, 27-year-old Brian Fairclough, and 26-year-old Jahmar Ashman.
