Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar says Government is moving to ensure transparency following a diplomatic dispute within CARICOM.
In a statement, Persad-Bissessar confirmed that correspondence from Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs Sean Sobers has been made public. This follows the leak of a letter from St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Terrance Drew dated April 8th.
She is calling on the CARICOM Secretariat to clarify reports that Minister Sobers was disinvited from a recent retreat.
