St George Primary student Tyriq Goddard placed tenth overall in this year’s Barbados Secondary Schools’ Entrance Examination (BSSEE), following the release of results on Monday.

Tyriq, who was among the 12 top performers, achieved an overall score of 243.59 and earned a place at Queen’s College.

Speaking during a breakfast outing with his family this morning, Tyriq said he did not have to make significant sacrifices and while he chose to reduce some activities, he did not stop them completely.
