The Environmental Management Authority (EMA) has completed its 2025 Vacation Internship Programme, which ran from June to August and engaged 13 university students.
The three-month initiative exposed participants to practical experience across several EMA departments, including finance, procurement, quality management, health, safety and environment, permitting, projects, information technology, economics, corporate communications and legal services. The EMA stated that the programme provided students with opportunities to expand their knowledge and build workplace skills under the guidance of EMA staff.
The internship concluded with a “Lunch and Learn” session on 13 August at the EMA’s North Office, 8 Elizabeth Street, St. Clair. During the session, students presented on their experiences, lessons learnt and the impact of the internship on their academic and career development.
