The Trident Trust CPL Fundraising Cricket Day, formerly known as Pink Promise, will be held on September 10 to raise funds for the Barbados Cancer Society and the Barbados Royals Girls Cricket Club.

The announcement was made by the Barbados Tridents, which succeeds the Royals as franchise holder in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), during the launch of Walk for the Cure 2026 at Sugar Bay Barbados, Hastings on Thursday. The fundraising initiative forms part of the Barbados Tridents’ home fixture against the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, which bowls off at 7 p.m.

Explaining the rebranding, Tridents’ Head of Operations Roxanne Forte said while the team has returned to national colours ultramarine and gold, the commitment to supporting breast cancer awareness remains unchanged.
