REGIONAL security consultant Dr Garvin Heerah has called for a systematic investigation into robberies targeting people leaving financial institutions, warning that the incidents could point to organised criminal activity and possible access to confidential information.
Concerns about robberies targeting people leaving financial institutions resurfaced last week after two women were assaulted and robbed in separate incidents following cash withdrawals, both on October 20.
