(Kaieteur News) – Guyana’s earnings from oil in 2025 reached US$2.5 billion in 2025 but that same year, the Government of Guyana (GoG) withdrew US$2.463 million from the account, leaving little for savings and future generations.
The Natural Resource Fund (NRF) Annual Report for 2025 which was tabled during the most recent sitting of the National Assembly provides a detailed overview of inflows and outflows for the year from the oil produced at the Stabroek Block.
The block is operated by oil giant, ExxonMobil which currently produces about 900,000 barrels per day (bpd) from four Floating Production Storage and Offloading vessels (FPSOs).
