Police have launched an investigation into the death of a 67-year-old man whose body was discovered at his home in Pranz Gardens, Claxton Bay, early Tuesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Kelvin Gopie, an unemployed man of East Indian descent, residing at #35 C Pranz Gardens, Claxton Bay.

According to police reports, around 8 a.m., officers at the Couva Police Station received a report of a death at the location.
