THE TOBAGO House of Assembly Division of Health has responded to the budgetary shortfall to the Division, announced as an error last Friday by Finance Minister Davendranath Tancoo.
“The Division of Health and Wellness acknowledges public concerns regarding the reported reduction in the Tobago Regional Health Authority (TRHA) allocation for the fiscal year 2027,” the Division stated in a release on Saturday.
This follows the Standing Finance Committee of Parliament meeting on Friday when Tancoo admitted that an error was made in the 2027 budget allocation for the Tobago Regional Health Authority (TRHA), but assured the authority will receive adequate resources to cover operational expenses.
