Efforts underway to enhance adolescent-friendly healthcare

Efforts are underway to enhance adolescent-friendly health care across the island, with a focus on improving how these vital services are administered to young people.

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), in collaboration with the Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO) and the Ministry of Health and Wellness, hosted a capacity-building workshop on the topic this morning.

Delivering remarks at the train-the-trainers workshop, Minister of Health and Wellness, Senator Lisa Cummins, emphasised the need to communicate effectively with young people.
