The Barbados Bankers Association has reacted to the Central Bank of Barbados’ declaration that BimPay is not responsible for ongoing payroll issues.
According to the Association, most of the early issues experienced following the June 12 launch of BimPay, the new national payment platform, have been resolved.
The Bankers Association says while banks encountered teething issues during the first few days of implementation, most of the problems have been rectified, with banks providing their customers with relevant and timely updates through their communication channels.
