The Barbados Police Service has announced heightened security measures for Grand Kadooment on Monday following an incident-free Foreday Morning Jam.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Commissioner of Police Sonia Boyce assured the public that a comprehensive security plan has been activated to provide a safe, secure and orderly environment for all participants and spectators.
Approximately 19 registered bands are expected to travel from the Helipad to the Mighty Grynner Highway, including the largest band, which is expected to have around 2 200 revellers.
