A Government senator is raising concerns about employees and retirees facing financial disadvantage because of collapsed pension schemes.
Senior Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator Christopher Sinckler, says there are instances in both the public and private sectors where pension schemes are under pressure.
He raised the issue while contributing to the debate on the Protection of Wages Bill, 2026, which was passed in the Senate yesterday.
