The People’s National Movement (PNM) has opened nominations for the upcoming Local Government Elections.
In a media release issued today, the Opposition stated: “The People’s National Movement advises the national community that the first round of nominations for Local Government Elections opened at 8:00am today, Monday 23rd February 2026.”
The PNM said the move was in keeping with the Political Leader’s announcement at the January 24, 2026 General Council meeting that, in consultation with members of the party’s leadership, a decision was taken to issue the call for nominations for the Local Government Elections.
