Hinds to President: Don’t proclaim SOB

FORMER national security minister Fitzgerald Hinds has called on People’s National Movement (PNM) supporters to mobilise in the thousands and petition President Christine Kangaloo not to proclaim The Special Operations Bill (SOB).

Hinds on Sunday bashed the SOB as unconstitutional and stated that the circumstances surrounding the passage of the legislation in the Senate should be investigated and called on Kangaloo to intervene.

Speaking at a PNM meeting in the Arouca/Lopinot constituency he called on the party to mobilise against the SOB becoming law.
