An an­ti-crime ex­er­cise con­duct­ed in the Fyz­abad dis­trict on Thurs­day morn­ing re­sult­ed in the ar­rest of three men and the seizure of il­le­gal drugs, am­mu­ni­tion, and a firearm.

Dur­ing the op­er­a­tion a 43-year-old male of Del­hi Road, Fyz­abad was held on four out­stand­ing af­fil­i­a­tion war­rants, a 29-year-old male of Mon De­sir, Del­hi Road was held on one out­stand­ing F.I. war­rant and a 25-year-old male of Archibald Street, Del­hi Road was ar­rest­ed for pos­ses­sion of 74.5 grams of mar­i­jua­na.

In ad­di­tion to the ar­rests, of­fi­cers dis­cov­ered and seized a quan­ti­ty of nar­cotics and a firearm with am­mu­ni­tion in a bushy, over­grown area near Sewlal Trace Ex­ten­sion, Fyz­abad. The re­cov­ered items in­clud­ed one black and sil­ver met­al ob­ject re­sem­bling a firearm, bear­ing the mark­ings “Colt Dou­ble Ea­gle”, eleven rounds of 9mm am­mu­ni­tion and 450 grams of cannabis.
