Men in Barbados looking for a natural boost in the bedroom are being urged to think twice after health officials warned that several sexual enhancement products marketed as herbal remedies were found to contain hidden prescription drugs.
The Bermuda Ministry of Health has advised the public to stop using several products sold for erectile dysfunction and sexual performance enhancement after government laboratory tests confirmed they contained one or more prescription-only medications that were not listed on their labels.
Health Minister Kim Wilson said the products pose serious health risks, particularly for people with underlying medical conditions or those taking other medications.
