AtÂtorÂneys repÂreÂsentÂing alÂleged murÂder conÂspirÂaÂtor Star SabÂga have writÂten to the ComÂmisÂsionÂer of PoÂlice (CoP) AlÂlisÂter GueÂvarÂro reÂquestÂing that three of her famÂiÂly memÂbers be alÂlowed to visÂit her in keepÂing with what was done durÂing her time in poÂlice cusÂtody, esÂpeÂcialÂly in light of health conÂcerns now beÂing raised by her.
AcÂcordÂing to the letÂter, datÂed AuÂgust 14 and adÂdressed to T&T PoÂlice SerÂvice atÂtorÂney Dayadai HarÂriÂpaul and copied to CoP GueÂvarÂro and GerÂald Ramdeen, one of the State’s atÂtorÂneys in the subÂstanÂtive matÂter, atÂtorÂney CarÂlon Mc Leod asked that the relÂaÂtives be alÂlowed to visÂit her twice weekÂly.
“PurÂsuant to the same paraÂgraph 3 of the OrÂder, which conÂtemÂplates apÂproved famÂiÂly atÂtenÂdants, and which is the same acÂcess as was grantÂed while our client was deÂtained at the Women’s Prison, we proÂpose that the folÂlowÂing famÂiÂly memÂbers atÂtend upÂon our client at 2 pm on TuesÂdays and on ThursÂdays, for no more than 15 minÂutes, one at a time: Sharon SabÂga, MarÂtin SabÂga and AnÂnie Laquis.”
