Birthday trip turns nightmare as chef Brisco fights to recover

What was supposed to be a special birthday trip to Jamaica for chef Brisco and his family has turned into a painful ordeal, with the popular chef now recovering from serious injuries and supporters rallying to help cover his medical expenses.

A fundraising campaign launched for Brisco’s recovery has already surpassed the halfway mark, with US$65,279 raised towards a US$100,000 goal.

That leaves US$34,721 still to go.
