A major Anti-Illicit Trade Initiative, “DUNWICH 5/2026,” conducted in the South Oropouche Police District, resulted in the seizure of more than 2,700 illicit and unsafe items, including illegal cigarettes, counterfeit branded clothing, unregistered male enhancement pharmaceuticals and defective consumer products.
According to a police release, on Wednesday officers seized 1016 unregistered male enhancement and assorted pharmaceutical items, 940 illicit cigarettes, 470 illicit electrical and assorted consumer products, and 320 counterfeit brand-name clothing items.
At approximately 11.20 a.m., investigators conducted inspections at a supermarket located along Southern Main Road, South Oropouche. During the exercise, officers seized counterfeit clothing items bearing the logos of internationally recognised brands, counterfeit cellular accessories, uncertified electrical items, defective imported matches and unregistered pharmaceutical products, including male enhancement pills and supplements.
