CASTRIES, St Lucia (CMC) — The St Lucia-based Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Commission Tuesday announced the appointment of Aisha Maina as OECS strategic advisor for Africa-Caribbean cooperation
It said that the appointment, effective July 1, 2026, “marks a pivotal moment in advancing transatlantic South-South collaboration” and that Maina’s role will serve as a vital catalyst in forging historic bridges between the Eastern Caribbean and the African continent.
The OECS Commission said that Maine, who is the chief executive officer of the Nigeria-based Aquarian Consult Limited, brings to the commission an extraordinary record of visionary leadership.
