Fresh start for STETHS: Campus opens with new classrooms

ST JAMES, Jamaica — Students and staff at St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS) returned to bright, newly repaired classrooms on Monday, September 7, marking a milestone in the recovery of the institution following the extensive damage sustained during Hurricane Melissa.

Education, Skills, Youth and Information Minister, Senator Dr Dana Morris Dixon, who was on hand to welcome the students for the start of the new academic year, was pleased with the progress of the restoration works.

She noted the remarkable improvements since she visited the institution in the aftermath of the storm, which impacted the island last October.
