GUARDIAN Media Ltd has been ordered by the High Court to pay more than $327,000 in damages, interest and costs to Tobago businessman Allan Warner and his son, Aluko Ato Warner, over a defamatory newspaper article.
Last Monday, Justice Vigel Paul also ordered the media company to remove or edit the article from its website and delete related social media posts, while restraining Guardian Media from republishing the offending material.
The written ruling, setting out the reasons for the decision, is expected to be delivered next week.
