A 36-year-old Albouystown, Georgetown labourer has been charged with attempting to obstruct the course of justice after allegedly falsely implicating himself in an ongoing murder investigation.
Junior Callender of Hogg Street, Albouystown, appeared before Magistrate Orintha Schmidt at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, charged with attempting to obstruct the course of justice contrary to Section 330 of the Criminal Law (Offences) Act, Chapter 8:01.
The charge stems from Police investigations into the murder of Danier Vegas Infante, which occurred on May 10 at Forshaw Street, Alberttown.
