(Kaieteur News) – Emmanuel James, the Guyanese dancehall and soca artiste known as ‘Lil’ Saint’, has passed away, leaving behind a grieving community of family, fans, and fellow musicians who had watched the young performer carve out a promising place in the country’s entertainment landscape.
The circumstances of his death have not been formally confirmed, but in a pre-recorded video circulating widely on social media, Lil’ Saint had disclosed that he had been battling a serious health condition for four years, a mass on his pancreas linked to excessive alcohol use that caused severe abdominal pain and vomiting.
He shared that after two prior attempts at a procedure, he had been preparing to undergo major surgery.
