Indications are that close to a dozen athletes could end up being transferred from St Jago High School girls' track and field team for the new school year which got underway on Monday.
The Gleaner sports has been reliably informed that among the notable names transferred so far are sprinter Adora Campbell and intermediate hurdler Alyssa Carty, who have both switched to the Convent of Mercy Academy, Alpha.
Campbell was 4th in the Class 2 100m final at this year's ISSA GraceKennedy Boys and Girls Athletics Championships, while Carty finished 7th in the 400 metre hurdles Open final before going on to land the Carifta Under-17 crown in Grenada.
