Regional finals headline fourth weekend of ExxonMobil U18 Schools Football

(Kaieteur News) – Regional and district finals will take centre stage as the Vurlon Mills Football Academy’s (VMFA) ExxonMobil Under-18 Schools Football competition continues from October 22–24, with boys’ and girls’ teams preparing for another busy programme across Guyana.

The fourth weekend of competition features finals in Region One, Region Three, East Bank Demerara, East Coast Demerara and Georgetown South, alongside further matches in Essequibo, Berbice and Georgetown North.

Action begins on Thursday, October 22, when Santa Rosa Secondary face Waramuri Secondary in a boys’ encounter at Santa Rosa from 10:00 hrs. The winners will advance to face Hosororo Secondary in the Region One boys’ final at Coomacka on Friday, October 23, at 11:30 hrs. North West Secondary and Waramuri Secondary will contest the girls’ final at the same venue from 10:00 hrs.
