Programme director of the Programme for Upgrading Roads Efficiency (PURE) Hayden Phillip has been sent on administrative leave, along with nine other staff members.
Sources familiar with PURE’s operations confirmed that Phillip and others in the programme were sent on leave with no time-frame given for their possible return.
One source told the Sunday Express that “we are in the age of politics. They were not fired (they) were sent on administrative leave.”
