Advantage General rebrands as Sagicor General Insurance Jamaica

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Advantage General Insurance Company has officially changed its name to Sagicor General Insurance Jamaica Limited, bringing the general insurer more directly under the Sagicor brand seven years after it became part of Sagicor Group Jamaica.

The company said the rebranding will involve a change in its name and visual identity, but its products, services and existing teams will remain in place throughout the transition.

Advantage General became a member of Sagicor Group Jamaica in 2019 and has since been undergoing greater integration within the financial conglomerate. Sagicor said the latest move is intended to deepen that integration and give the general insurer greater access to the wider group’s resources and capabilities.
