Trade Minister Challenges Construction Industry To Expand Regional Reach

The local building sector is being encouraged to look beyond Trinidad and Tobago and capitalise on opportunities across the wider Caribbean market.

The call came from Minister of Trade, Investment and Tourism Satyakama Maharaj as he addressed the opening of the Beyond the Blueprint exhibition at the Centre of Excellence on Friday.

He challenged local industry leaders to look beyond the domestic market and position Trinidad and Tobago to capture a greater share of regional business.
